Believe it or not there may be a time when choosing a baby thank you cards becomes a more difficult decision than you thought possible! The birth of your baby boy or girl has been announced using designer baby announcements and you have received many cards congratulating you on becoming a new mother. If you were fortunate enough to have twins, you should have already sent a twin birth announcements. Your baby shower is over and you have received some marvelous gifts, both practical, such as diaper packs and cot blankets, and for the baby, such as mobiles and toys. Your baby has just been christened, or has celebrated his or her first birthday. You have to choose a card that will truly express your gratitude to all your friends and family that have taken the time to send you these wonderful baby gifts. What factors should you consider when choosing your baby thank you cards so that they appear unique and not just purchased as multi-packs from a local discount store?

What do you do? You have two basic options: hit the streets and shopping malls or go online. Which of these do you believe will offer you the best results? In fact do you know the results that you want, or are you simply seeking some ideas because right now you have no idea of the type of card you should be send to thank those that offered the gifts, or even those that turned up at the Christening or baby shower.

2. If you are good with a computer, add all these names and addresses into a special file on your Contacts list, and mail merge them so that you print all the envelopes at each 'rites of passage' stage in your child's life. You can include or exclude those relevant to each, and add or remove as time goes by.

3. Combine baby thank you cards by noting who sends you cards or gifts at each date: maybe the Christening is close to a birthday, so you can combine baby thank you cards for both, or perhaps you have two children whose important dates are close.

4. Choose a good online card company that you can trust to provide you with what you need and stick with them.
